Using a pseudo-science hybrid approach from of my own creation with observation of others...

I use I am myself yeah whatever aware of time, timing, cast, crew, costs & plans plus goals & executives us shareholders then security, hazards & risks 

LIGHT SWITCH HYBRID METHOD ----------------

I apply what I call a hybrid method light switch from self to character then return to just turn it on, get the shot or photograph poses & return to a craft with measurements, physics, to a science with the psychological mind state to express in every last detail in eyes, facial expression plus muscle movement & control with posture, limbs-hands-feet-fingers-toes  

Pop in & out of character 

Reiterate a script with direction or improve & markers accurately adding dashes of subtle change to imove quality using skill 

A still pose mannequin in different poses with different looks. Physical size & expression then activity specific clothing, accessories & footwear 

STAGE VERSUS FILM ------------------------------------

Unlike stage performance with no retakes. Person walks in & reiterates line then I on cue have to recognize when to seamlessly communicate after responding by reacting to the person in my applied style 

It continues like this until multiple takes please directors & editors against the scripted screen play + overall direction of the production project
